Energy Medicine & Wellbeing

HeatherAsh Amara

HeatherAsh shares how we can weave in self-care, where we look after our body, and our own needs, whilst also being there for others.

When we did this interview HeatherAsh was just coming out the other end of having had Covid, so this conversation really shines a light on how to find balance between being and doing.

She also guides us on a meditation, tuning into the elements of fire and water (starts at 32.10 and is 7 minutes long).

Best-selling author, mentor, land steward, and philanthropist, HeatherAsh Amara has spent the last three decades weaving together earth-based wisdom, mindfulness, and practical strategies for creative, courageous, and compassionate individual and community change. She is the author of 9 books, including the bestselling Warrior Goddess Training series and The Seven Secrets of Happy and Healthy Relationships with don Miguel Ruiz Jr.

In 2004 Warrior Goddess Training was released and immediately became a #1 bestseller – and it stayed at #1 in its category for four years!

Denise Linn

I absolutely adore Denise – you’ll notice this throughout the interview - as her guiding wisdom helped me heal already back in the early 90s.

As I read her latest book, The Gift of Low Self-Esteem, I realised how she - during that time when she was such a beacon of light for me - was really struggling with low self-esteem.

I could also witness that incredible strength in her, because she had managed to turn her low self-esteem into a surprising superpower – and in such an inspiring way.

Denise’s spiritual journey began as a 17-year-old when she had a dramatic near-death, after being shot by an unknown gunman. Her life-changing experiences and remarkable recovery set her on a spiritual quest that led her to explore the healing traditions of many cultures, including those of her own Cherokee ancestors, the Aborigines in the Australian bush, and the Zulus in Bophuthatswana. She trained with a Hawaiian kahuna (shaman), and Reiki Master Hawayo Takata. She was also adopted into a New Zealand Maori tribe. In addition, Denise lived in a Zen Buddhist monastery for more than two years.

Denise is an internationally renowned teacher in the field of self-development. She’s the author of the bestseller ‘Sacred Space’ and the award-winning ‘Feng Shui for the Soul,’ and has written 19 books, which are available in 29 languages. Denise has appeared in numerous documentaries and television shows worldwide. She has taught in 25 countries and has been a featured guest on Oprah, Lifetime, Discovery Channel, BBC TV, NBC and CBS.

Michelle MacEwan

Michelle shares about the healing powers of the radiant dark and the realm of feminine wisdom.

She also explains the medicine found in moving with the natural cycles of darkness and light, such as in the Wheel of the Year.

She then guides us on a shamanic journey into the radiant dark (begins at 39.30 and is around 10 minutes long).

Michelle is a spiritual guide and teacher with natural healing abilities. She is an international speaker, environmental activist and storyteller with over thirty years experience leading retreats, guiding groups and working with individuals (entrepreneurs, business leaders, activists, creatives and those who are discovering their pathway) towards a deeper wisdom. Along with her husband, Michelle also runs a wildlife rescue shelter to care for and rehabilitate injured and orphaned animals. Michelle’s work with wildlife is part of her greater mission to raise awareness about the wild and our place in nature. Michelle helps you discover, or evolve, your own unique pathway with wonder, grace and deepening resolve to come back to your unique place in the natural world.

Making our own unique spiritual pathway central to all we do – this is the way forward in the times in which we find ourselves.

Jane Burns

In this interview, Jane shares her wisdom on grief, and how it is a powerful teacher of transformation.

She also talks about the Dark Night of the Soul, and how it can help us return to a greater sense of authenticity, where we find more clarity on who we are, and why we are here.

Jane also guides us on a shamanic journey to the Otherworld, where we meet a loved one who has crossed over to the other side. This journey starts at 27.54 (and is 14 minutes long).

Jane began her own spiritual practice in the shamanic tradition in 1996 after being diagnosed with cancer. Upon declining recommendations for chemotherapy and radiation treatment, she undertook instead a lengthy spiritual journey in order to heal herself. During that process, she received her first power animal from a spirit guide, and her education in shamanism took root.

She has studied core shamanism, soul retrieval, and shamanic teacher training with Sandra Ingerman, Celtic Shamanism and Faery Doctoring with Tom Cowan. She became a shamanic practitioner in 2005 and a teacher of shamanic journeying in 2007. She’s also a Celtic Reiki Master.

She brings to her practice over 20 years of experience in the fields of psychic and medical intuition, energy medicine and past-life regression therapy. She’s written the books Up a Tree: A Novel and Shamanic Handbook, and The Hungry Sea.

Cissi Williams

This is an interview Emmi Mutale did with me on her recent online summit (returntothemotherworld.com), so the following is her writing:

Cissi shares powerfully about meeting various forms of the Dark Mother from the Black Madonna who held her through her darkest moments to the Norse Goddesses Freya and Hel, who took her on a journey of deep ancestral healing and led her to the ancient witch consciousness of the Völva and the Valkyries and the Norns who weave the threads of life for all human beings.

Cissi reminds us that it is the darkness that births light, that the Dark Mother’s love is both fierce and compassionate and awakens us to the truth of who we are - often through potent experiences with our bodies, including illness, injury or disease. Finally, she encourages us to trust that the healing, empowering Dark Mother medicine and wisdom is already within all of us, wired into our DNA and our consciousness.

Plus two interviews in Swedish

The interviews with Lina Lanestrand and Tia Jumbe were held in Swedish - and my goodness, although I speak Swedish with my daughters, I’m definitely not used to speaking it in a professional setting. Fortunately Lina and Tia are both amazing, and the topic we dive into is all about awakening our inner feminine wisdom and power. Så jag hoppas att ni gillar intervjuerna 😊

Tia Jumbe
